Phnom Penh (FN), May 5 – Cheng Kheng, President of the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association, insisted that the real estate sector will remain stable regardless of the upcoming elections.
His insight was shared at a press conference on “Cambodia’s Real Estate Exhibition and Convention," on Friday.
“Cambodia holds elections regularly. This is not the first election and it will not affect the real estate sector,” said Cheng Keng.
“The sector provides opportunities for us to invest when many people are afraid,” he added.
Land market value has risen substantially due to an increase in population and urbanization.
He advised investors to discuss their plans with an expert before making any decisions.
