Phnom Penh (FN), April 9 - Sok Ey San, Cambodian People's Party's (CPP) Spokesman mocked Cambodia National Rescue Party's (CNRP) leader earlier today.
CPP mocked CNRP's leaders for always stating that they 'would win' elections, but at the end, they 'won the wind.'
"Kem Sokha's statements are nothing different from buying votes, promising citizens to get this and that done after they voted for him, and promising citizens living abroad to donate first before acquiring the position when elected," stated Sok Eysan.
"Kem Sokha's statements will never be true. These statements were also made by Sam Rainsy, but at the end, nothing was achieved except winning the wind," he added.
On April 7, Kem Sokha visited Auckland, New Zealand and Australia to meet Cambodian residents.
During his visit, he said that CNRP would win during the upcoming commune council election in 2017 according to an unofficial survey conducted by the CNRP.
Sokha is scheduled to return back to Cambodia on April 18 after the Khmer New Year.
