SEOUL, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) test-fired missiles on Wednesday but apparently ended in failure, South Korea's military said.
Yonhap news agency quoted the military as saying that South Korea and the United States were aware of the related issue.
The statement came as a response to reports that the DPRK test-fired several missiles at around 7 a.m. (2200 GMT) from Wonsan on its eastern coast.
