Phnom Penh (FN), March 13 – The Cambodia-Vietnam Joint Committee held their 15th Joint Commission for cooperation on economic, cultural, scientific, and technological cooperation on Monday morning.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was presided over by Ung Sean, the Cambodian Foreign Affairs Secretary, and Dang Dinh Quy, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam.
“Senior Minister Prak Sakhon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his counterpart Pham Binh Minh will sign the minutes of 15th Commision Meeting on Wednesday this week,” according to Cambodia’s MoFA.
“There will be a retreat regarding cooperation and development between the countries bordering Cambodia and Vietnam. This meeting will be chaired by Cambodia’s Interior Minister Sar Kheng and Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh,” according to the same source.
The meeting is expected to provide opportunities for the two countries to reiterate the achievements in the past and set vision plans to strengthen the existing diplomacy.
