Kandal (FN), Jun. 3 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen warned the United Nations (UN) special rapporteur on human rights in Cambodia, who is a Thai national, not to view Cambodia as an enemy.
The premier spoke on Saturday morning (Jun 3) during his meeting with more than 17,000 workers in Kandal Province.
"Vitit Muntarbhorn, have you ever intervened for Thaksin and Yingluck to enter the country. How is democracy in Thailand?" the premier asked.
The premier's reaction is made in response to the misleading, highly-politicized and selective remarks of some special rapporteurs as to electoral environment ahead of July general elections in Cambodia.
