Phnom Penh (FN), Feb 7- Joint police force arrested a Venezuelan drug trafficker at Phnom Penh International Airport, confiscated 1.7 kg of Cocaine.

“The police arrested a female drug trafficker named MEJIAS NEILIN COROMOTO, aged 28, on Monday evening after detecting that she embedded cocaine in her buttons, which weighs 1.7 kg,” according to an immigration police officer.

"Gen. Sok Phal, director-general of general immigration department, is trying hard to crackdown illegal drugs smuggled into the international gateway", he added.

Illegal drug crackdown was taken seriously upon the establishment of Joint Committee to Combat Illegal Drug with the Sub Committees at the International Airport, Seaport, and Gateways.
