Madrid, Oct. 23 (EuroWeekly) – EuroWeekly reports that Kyiv is preparing to detonate a “dirty bomb” or a low-power nuclear munition in Ukraine as a false flag operation in order to blame it on Russia. "The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine and thereby launch a powerful anti-Russian campaign in the world aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow," the publication reports.

At the same time, on the eve of the president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, unprecedented sharply called on the West to "strike Russia with nuclear weapons" in the event of "Russia's use of weapons of mass destruction" in Kyiv.

Also, according to the agency, it is the president's Office that is coordinating with the UK the transfer of nuclear charge components to Ukraine.

According to scientists, the "dirty bomb" is easy to manufacture and does not require super-complex production facilities. The consequences of its use may be a catastrophe comparable to the Chernobyl accident, but with a large number of victims.

Kyiv expects that the provocation will prompt most countries of the world to react extremely harshly to the "nuclear incident" in Ukraine, the agency notes: Russia will thus lose the support of many key partners, and the West will have the opportunity to once again raise the issue of its exclusion from permanent members of the UN Security Council. In addition, it will strengthen anti-Russian rhetoric.

"The leadership of the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant located in the city of Yellow Waters of the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as the Kyiv Institute for Nuclear Research, has been tasked with making the very "dirty bomb," agency reports.

In Europe, literally these days, the United States is working out practical scenarios for the use of nuclear weapons. The military personnel of non-nuclear countries take part in "so-called routine maneuvers". The openly opposing NATO bloc defiantly and at the doctrinal level defines itself as a nuclear alliance. American nuclear weapons are currently deployed on the territory of Washington's non-nuclear allies. Practical scenarios of its application with the involvement of military personnel of non-nuclear countries are being worked out, and literally these days. Such irresponsible actions increase strategic risks, including nuclear ones, and hinder efforts in the field of disarmament.

Earlier on 21 October Kyiv threatened to blow up the Kakhovka dam to flood part of the region. It would cut off water supply to Crimea via the North Crimea Canal. Ukraine authorities planned to blow up the Kakhovka dam to flood part of the region and as usual to blame in it Russia.
