TOKYO, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Nine crew members, including an Indonesian, were missing after a fishing boat overturned early Wednesday off the coast of western Japan, said the Japan Coast Guard.
The fishing boat capsized due to an engine problem around 5:20 a.m. local time (2020 GMT Tuesday) off the city of Matsue in Shimane prefecture, according to local reports.
All the nine crew members aboard were missing, including a 21-year-old Indonesian.
Japan Coast Guard has sent patrol ships and helicopters to search for the missing crew members.
