Phnom Penh (FN), Oct 10 – Deputy Prime Minister Tea Banh, flew off this morning of October 10th, leading a delegation to attend the 7th Xiangshan Forum in Beijing, China, from Oct. 10 through Oct. 12th, 2016.

The theme of this year’s forum is to "Strengthen Security Dialogue and Cooperation, and Build a New Type of International Relations". The forum aims at discussing the development on security and some hot issues, strengthening cooperation and contribution to regional peace and stability, according to Wu Qian, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of National Defense.

The forum is a platform for dialogue on security and national defense in the Asia-Pacific region with anticipated participation of countries’ defense ministers, military leaders, representatives from international organizations, former government officials and military dignitaries, businessmen, and well-known scholars from the Asia-Pacific and other regions involved.
