Manila, Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 8 – Cambodian taekwondo star Sorn Seavmey has won a gold medal at the 30th SEA Games, held Sunday in Manila, Philippines, according to Thong Khon, president of National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.
Another taekwondo athlete Chhoeung Alisa has won a silver medal at the 2019 SEA Games.
Seavmey was a 2013 SEA Games gold medalist in Myanmar and the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia. She won Cambodia's first gold medal at the Asian Games since its participation in 1954.
