Svay Rieng (FN), Oct. 29 – Within four days, from 25 to 29 October 2019, at least 50 former officials and activists of the court-dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) confessed to authority that they would not to join Sam Rainsy’s treason plan. They also defected to the ruling Cambodian People’s Party.

The announcement of defection took place from 25-29 October 2019.
