Phnom Penh (FN), July 1 – A Laotian drug ringleader with 3 kilograms of drug was arrested and seized by anti-drug department under coordination of the prosecutor office and was handed over to the court on July 1st, 2016, a police officer said.
Yin Panharith, Chief of K-9 Office, told Fresh News this morning, July 1, 2016 that the Laotian drug ringleader identified as Khamphun Phomalat, aged 33, was arrested on June 29, 2016 in front of the military hospital 179 also known as Preah Ketomealea Hospital in Daun Penh District under the direct command from Deputy Commissioner of National Police Gen. Mok Chito and Gen. Khiev Samorn, Director of Anti-Drug Department.
Police had been tracking the ringleader as well as other three fellows who are on the run for quite a while until the arrest was made. Police confiscated 2kg of Crystal Methamphetamine and 1kg of WY, said the police officer.
