Phnom Penh (FN), June 27 – During a meeting this morning, June 27, 2016, at the Peace Palace, Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Sen and Lao’s visiting Prime Minister Thongloun SISOULITH, agreed to set up general consulates in the border provinces of Stung Treng and Pakse respectively with a view to making it more convenient to travelers of the two countries, said Information Minister Khieu Kanharith.

Mr. Thongloun SISOULITH arrived in Phnom Penh earlier this morning for a two day-visit from June 27 through June 28, 2016 with a view to strengthening the traditional good-neighbor relationship and cooperation between the two countries, according to a press release received by Fresh News today June 27, 2016.

During the visit, Mr. Thongloun SISOULITH will make a courtesy call on His Majesty the King at the Royal Palace. He is also scheduled to call on Samdech Say Chhum, Senate president, Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly.
