Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 15 – On the occasion of the 65th Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia (9 November 1953 – 9 November 2018), on behalf of the government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and in my own name, I would like to extend to Samdech Techo Prime Minister and the brotherly people of Cambodia the warmest congratulations, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc wrote in the letter on 6 November.

“I firmly believe that our relations of “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-lasting stability” between Vietnam and Cambodia shall continue to flourish, bringing about substantial benefits to our people,” Nguyen Xuan Phuc addressed to Prime Minister Hun Sen.
