Nanning, China (FN), Oct. 25 - The 90-year-old renowned Chinese university, Guangxi University, planned to bring Cambodian professors to teach Khmer language to the Chinese students and send Chinese professors to teach at its partnered Cambodian universities in order to cement Cambodia-China bonds, according to university’s representative Qin Chengiang, addressing to Cambodian media officials and journalists on 24 October 2018.

Guangxi University, founded in 1928, offered bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in many fields to both local and international students. It offers annual scholarships to 120 ASEAN students, including Cambodians.

Today, 70 Cambodians are studying at Guangxi University on scholarships. Cambodian graduates from the University have highlighted the quality of education provided by this university and are optimistic that many job opportunities is available, as China is expanding its investment in Cambodia.
