Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 14 - Cambodian People's Party spokesman Sok Eysan, on Sunday, said that the ruling party has upheld King Father’s royal order - to defend the constitution, monarchy, and democracy.

"The Cambodian People's Party firmly adheres to social harmonization through policy of national unity and reconciliation and culture of dialogue," he said adding that, the above elements shall be based on the principles of democracy and the rule of law.

He continued: “This is the royal order of King Father that has been left for CPP to implement. This is why CPP defends constitution, monarchy, democracy, and rule of law.”

15th October 2018 marks 6th Memorial Year of the Decease of King Father, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, the Great Khmer King, Father of Independence, Territorial Integrity, and Khmer Unity.
