Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 29 - Hemodialysis is a method that is used to achieve the extracorporeal removal of waste products such as creatinine and urea and free water from the blood when the kidneys fail to work. Before hemodialysis was available, total kidney failure meant death. Today, people with kidney failure can live because of hemodialysis.

The Hemodialysis Clinic at KHEMA International Polyclinic, which is scheduled to officially launch on 1 October 2018, will provide quality hemodialysis treatment to patients suffering from kidney disease in Cambodia following international best practices. The center welcomes referrals as well as patients visiting from overseas.
