Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 26 – Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad sent a congratulatory letter to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on the election victory on 29 July 2018.

“I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the victory of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) in the 6th General Elections of Cambodia,” Mohamad wrote in the letter dated on 20 September 2018.

“I continue to believe that it is now opportunity for both Malaysia and Cambodia to further strengthen our ties,” he added.
