RIYADH, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia rejected on Tuesday Iranian accusations of its involvement in the deadly Ahvaz attack, Saudi Press Agency reported.
A senior official at the Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the kingdom completely rejects the deplorable false accusations by Iranian officials regarding the kingdom's support for the incidents that occurred in Iran last Saturday.
He added that the policy of his country is clear about its non-interference in the domestic affairs of other countries.
"The Iranian regime......has wasted its people's resources in its aggression and reckless behaviour that has brought nothing but chaos and destruction to the region," the official said.
The attack took place in Iran's southwestern Ahvaz city earlier Saturday when four armed men targeted a military parade marking the anniversary of the Iran-Iraq war in 1980-1988.
