TEHRAN, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Iran has summoned Dutch, Danish and British diplomats over Saturday's terror attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, accusing them of hosting terrorist groups, state news agency IRNA reported citing the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
"It is not acceptable that the European Union does not blacklist members of these terrorist groups as long as they do not perpetrate a crime on the European soil," the ministry's spokesperson Bahram Qasemi was quoted as saying.
Qasemi was referring to the Al-Ahvazieh group, which claimed responsibility for the attack. Tehran considers the group a terrorist and separatist entity.
ISIL also claimed it was behind the attack, which killed at least 29 people and injured 57 others during a military parade.
The Dutch and Danish governments are expected to extradite the perpetrators and their accomplices to Iran to stand trial, Qasemi said, adding that "it is not acceptable at all" for a spokesperson for the Al-Ahvazieh group to claim responsibility of the attack through a London-based TV network.
