Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 21 - As of Friday, 26 countries, including China, Japan, France, Russia, Germany, Korea, Singapore, Laos, Sudan, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, Cuba, Thailand, Venezuela, Turkey, Brunei, Belarus, Myanmar, Ukraine, Palestine, Mongolia, Malaysia, Hungary, Algeria, Egypt sent congratulatory letters to Cambodian People's Party (CPP) on election victory, despite the criticism and disturbance of some opposition groups.

In the official results of July's elections, the NEC said the CPP won 4,889,113 votes of the total 6,362,241 valid votes, taking all the 125 seats in the National Assembly.
