Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 19 - Ney Sam Ol, Ambassador/ Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations office at Geneva responded to the European Union Statement delivered by Austria regarding human rights issue in Cambodia at the 39th Session of Human Rights Council on 18 September 2018.

“Following Brussel’s Resolution on Cambodia last week, and in order to aggrandize its game, the European Union (EU) delegate acts like Praetorian Guard at Geneva blatantly violating the existing fundamental rules and practices of the Human Rights Council (HRC) at any price in addressing human rights issue in Cambodia,” Ney Sam Ol wrote in the statement dated on 18 September 2018.
