Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 17 - Cambodian ambassadors to China, Malaysia and the Cambodian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, have assisted 55 Cambodians to repatriate, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC)’s press release on Monday.

Cambodian ambassador to China has cooperated with the competent Chinese authorities to assist two Cambodian women, from Kompong Cham and Tbong Khmum provinces, cheated by brokers for illegal marriages to return home on 16 September 2018.

Cambodian ambassador to Malaysia has cooperated with Malaysian authorities to assist 22 illegal Cambodian workers in Malaysia to return home on 2 September 2018. They are from Kompong Cham, Kompong Thom, Takeo, Tbong Khmum, Battambang, Pursat, Preah Vihear and Svay Rieng.

Cambodian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has cooperated with the Vietnamese authorities to assist 31 Cambodians, who were living illegally in Vietnam to return home on 14 September 2018 through Bavet International Gate.
