Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 12 - Concluding the 15th ASEAN Expo in China, this afternoon, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a high-level delegation to Ha Noi, Vietnam to attend the 27th World Economic Forum on ASEAN.
The Forum is held from 11 to 13 September 2018 under the theme of "ASEAN 4.0: Entrepreneurship and the Fourth Industrial Revolution".
According to Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the premier will be accompanied by Minister Sun Chanthol of Public Works and Transport, and Minister of Labor and Vocational Training Ith Sam Heng as well as other members of the Royal Government and business people from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
According to MoFAIC’s press release on 11 September 2018, this year's World Economic Forum will be another great occasion for leaders of government, international organizations and prominent corporations to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by the fourth industry revolution to the ASEAN governments and businesses, as well as exploring ways and means to use harness innovation and public-private collaboration to tackle these challenges.
Prime Minister Hun Sen will have separate bilateral meetings with H.E. Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka; H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of Vietnam; H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; H.E. Taro Kono, Japanese Foreign Minister, and will receive a courtesy call by Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.
