Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 11 – Former President of Khmer Power Party Sourn Serey Ratha told Fresh News Tuesday that former opposition leaders Sam Rainsy told the US and EU to provide asylums to rich Cambodians people who want to live in those countries.

Rainsy took money from those rich Cambodian supporters and told the US and EU that those people are his activists who were threatened by the Cambodian government, thus required asylums to settle in foreign soils, Ratha explained.

"Those who served Sam Rainsy's politics were either killed or jailed. Rainsy took photos of these people to fundraise from his other supporters and send some money to victims' families," Ratha clarified.
