Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 10 – Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen and other colleagues of the Cambodian Red Cross would like to express the deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Beat Richner, founder of Cambodia's Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital who passed away at the age of 71 on 9 September 2018 in Switzerland.

Kantha Bopha is regarded as the “divine hospital” by most people, and has saved millions of Cambodian children lives.

The loss of Dr. Beat Richner is a huge loss of Cambodian health sector. May the soul of Dr. Beat Richner rest in peace.
