Phnom Penh (FN), August 18 - China's investment in Cambodia has amounted to more than US$5 billion within the first seven months of 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong said on Saturday at the inauguration ceremony of the Morgan Tower at Koh Pich Island, Phnom Penh.
According to former Minister of Foreign Affairs Hor Namhong, over five years 2013-2018, China's investment in Cambodia has reached approximately US$ 21 billion, including significant investment of nearly 3,000-km roads and seven bridges throughout Cambodia.
China's Morgan Tower is a new five-star 46-storey condominium, which costs about $160 million developed by OCIC.
Morgan Tower is completed in 2018, the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Cambodia and China.
