Phnom Penh (FN), August 9 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), sent a thank-you letter dated on Wednesday to Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha in response to the congratulatory message on the success of the sixth mandate national election.

"I would like to express my sincere thanks for Your Excellency's congratulatory message extended to me on the landslide victory of the CPP during the election of the 6th Legislature of National Assembly held on 29 July 2018", the premier wrote in the letter.

"Cambodia and Thailand enjoy long-lasting traditional relations. Our bilateral cooperation has been strengthened in all fields from year to year", he added.
