Phnom Penh (FN), July 31 - Civil Society Alliance Forum (CSAF) expressed a heartfelt and appreciations to the 220 international and national observers from the international institutions and organizations, as well as individual observers, from 52 countries from five continents, who observed the Election of Members of the National Assembly in the 6th Legislature in Kingdom of Cambodia held on 29 July 2018, according to the CSAF's statement released on Monday.

"The international delegates observed the election actively and professionally. They closely followed the election campaigns, met with the leaders of the Cambodian government and political parties, and exchanged views with the National Election Committee, and independent experts," CSAF wrote.

Both international observers and local observers shared their common views that multi-party political system is the foundation of peace and development.
