Phnom Penh (FN), July 30 - "High voter turnout in Cambodian National Assembly members election 2018 reflected that many Cambodian people support peace, stability, and development, Stepan Zhiryakov, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Food Policy and Environmental Management of the Federal Council of Russia informed Say Chhum, President of the Senate, in a courtesy call on Monday morning at the Senate, Phnom Penh.

Senate President believed that the mission of the Russian delegation to observe Cambodian election will further strengthen Cambodia-Russia longterm relations.

He informed the Russian delegation that Cambodia stands ready to welcome Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federal Council, to visit Cambodia in December.
