Phnom Penh (FN), July 29 - Over 50% people casted their vote in the 6th National Assembly members election by 12 p.m, according to Dim Sovannarom, National Election Committe spokesman.
Neth Savoeun, General Commissioner of National Police said that by 12:00 pm on Sunday, the security situation of the electoral process around Cambodia was smooth; no issue or conflict happened, he underlined.
Approximately 80,000 police were deployed to ensure safety during the election; not a threat, according to Phnom Penh Municipal Police Chief Chuon Sovann.
The 6th National Assembly Election began from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 29 July 2018.
