Stung Treng (FN), July 26 - Stung Treng authorities evacuted nearly 5,000 people of more than 1,000 families in Stung Treng affected by the flood from the collapse of an under-construction Se-Pian Se Nam Noi dam in Attapeu provincei in south-east Laos, according to Stung Treng provincial Governor Mom Saroeun on Thursday.
“More than 1,000 families, about 5,000 flood victims, have been evacuated to a safer ground. The flood did not cause any deaths or injuries, while the number of homes affected by the flood have yet reported,” said Mom Saroeun.
