Phnom Penh (FN), July 17 - The National Election Committee (NEC) confirmed Tuesday that the indelible ink for the 6th National Assembly members election is of high quality like the one in the commune council election 2017, according to NEC Secretary General Tep Nytha.
NEC held the ink quality experiment with representatives of political parties and national and international organizations on Tuesday at the NEC headquarter based at Ministry of Interior.
NEC ordered 51,000 bottles of ink from India, delivered to Cambodia on 5 July and 7 July 2018 to be used in more than 20,000 voting offices across the country.
According to Hang Puthea on Monday, NEC will deliver two bottles to each polling station, keep 3,292 bottles at the Provincial/municipal Election Commission (PEC) and 1,774 bottles at the NEC.
