(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), stated that the party’s success in leading the country for more than 46 years has been attributed to six key factors.

Samdech Techo spoke at the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the CPP, held on Saturday morning (Jun. 28) at the CPP headquarters.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen outlined the following core reasons behind the CPP’s long-standing success:

The party has always remained closely connected to the people, showing the courage to think, speak, act, and take responsibility, which has earned the people’s love and trust.

From the top to the grassroots, the party possesses a robust hierarchy, a vast membership, and a clearly defined and disciplined working system.

The party has a cadre of loyal, competent, virtuous, and ethical officials.

The CPP has carefully and thoroughly prepared the next generation of leaders to carry on its legacy.

The party enjoys firm internal solidarity and unshakable unity.

According to Samdech Techo, these factors are critically important for the party’s continued leadership to ensure long-lasting peace and development, which are the aspirations of the Cambodian people.
