(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Hun Sen received a courtesy call by three senators from the Khmer Will Party, the opposition party in Cambodia, on Monday (Apr. 28) at the Senate.
The three senators from the Khmer Will Party were Sok Hach, Seng Mardy, and Kong Monika. The discussion between Samdech Techo and the senators was conducted in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
The friendly and cooperative spirit observed during the exchanges between Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who also serves as the President of the Cambodian People's Party, and the three opposition senators drew significant attention from political and social observers. This scene has been described as a political gesture that many Cambodians aspire to see — where politicians from different parties sit and work together for the common good of the nation.
