Phnom Penh (FN), May 7 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet encouraged relevant ministries and institutions, which have yet participated in the implementation of the National Single Window (NSW) application, to swiftly participate in the initiative.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (May 7) during an official launching ceremony of National Single Window application at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

Samdech Thipadei stated, "I urge all relevant ministries and institutions that have not yet participated in the implementation of the NSW to swiftly join in order to ensure high-quality and efficient work.”

Premier Hun Manet highlighted that currently, 16 ministries and institutions are actively involved in implementing this system, leaving the other half yet to participate. He stressed the need to expedite efforts to ensure their involvement in the NSW implementation process.

Samdech Thipadei added that this mandate, the Royal Government has put in place an approach focused on strengthening rather than expanding. This entails bolstering the capacity to deliver public services and enhancing competitiveness.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei also instructed the Steering Committee of the NSW to monitor and evaluate the implementation, improve and expand the system functions, as well as broaden the connection to other business and trade-related information technology systems to meet the actual needs of the business.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet urged the private sector to fully utilise and leverage the NSW application, encouraging them to offer suggestions for its enhancement.

The Cambodia National Single Window (CNSW) enables importers, exporters, and agents to apply for licenses, permits, certificates, and other documents (LPCO) through the online CNSW portal; relevant government agencies processes and approves these applications in the same portal.
