Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 19 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed unwavering commitment to infrastructure development in Cambodia, speaking on Monday (Feb. 19) during a groundbreaking ceremony for Chak Angrae Krom Bridge, Phnom Penh.

Samdech Thipadei underscored, "In the seventh-mandate Royal Government, particularly in the realm of infrastructure in the last six months, I have attended numerous inaugurations of significant achievements [...] We stand firm in our resolve."

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that the stronger the road, the stronger the hope; more road, more hope. Road is like a blood vessel, essential for nourishing various parts of the country.

In addition, the premier added that roads serve to facilitate transportation, reduce costs, and create avenues for business opportunities.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that roads are not just for commuting but have also contributed to industrial development and improved the lives of citizens.

Currently, Cambodia boasts 25 bridges spanning its rivers. Of these, 19 bridges have been completed, three are under construction, and three are undergoing feasibility studies.

Please be informed that the construction of roads and bridges for the betterment of the nation and its people remains a fundamental policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia, led by the Cambodian People's Party, since the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen. Under the current leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, this policy continues unabated.
