Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 13 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet recommended advancing the development of the Law on Inspection for its enactment in 2024, highlighting its significance as the primary framework for ministries and institutions.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (Feb. 13) during the annual meeting of the Ministry of Inspection at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

Samdech Thipadei underscored, "Push for the law on inspection in 2024 as it is significant."

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that presently, inspection practices within ministries and institutions lack uniformity and are based on various legal frameworks, some pertaining to agriculture and others unrelated, lacking a cohesive foundation.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his belief that the drafting of the Law on Inspection will address many issues, delineate responsibilities, and provide clear directives.
