Koh Kong (FN), Jan. 8 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the Royal Government led by the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) will not give up on its supporters, speaking during his meeting with about 11,000 workers in Koh Kong province on Monday (Jan. 8).

Samdech Thipadei stated that from one mandate to another, the Royal Government of Cambodia, born of the CPP, is highly committed to improving the nation and the lives of the people from year to year in return for their trust and support for the CPP.

The premier continued, "The responsibilities of the Royal Government mirror the diligence of students progressing from one academic term to the next. Just as students persist and intensify efforts after passing exams, the government, under the democratic framework of each party, considers the people as its instructors. With citizens as the guiding force, there is a steadfast commitment to continuous hard work.”

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that the CPP-led Royal Government granted citizens the liberty to enhance their lives. The correlation is clear: as the people prosper, so does the economy.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei expressed gratitude to the residents of Koh Kong province who, in the recent 7th National Assembly election, cast their votes in favour of the CPP, reaffirming their trust in the CPP to continue guiding the Royal Government and implementing effective policies.

As per the report, an impressive 83% voter turnout was recorded in Koh Kong province, with an overwhelming 85.72% voting for the CPP.
