Kep (FN), Dec. 3 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet instructed and encouraged the authorities and residents in the four coastal provinces of Cambodia to continue to maintain their reputation as the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club to be worthy of the reputation as the rising star of the southwest.

The premier spoke at the closing ceremony of the 10th Sea Festival, held on Sunday (Dec. 3) in Kep province.

"I called upon all provincial authorities, coastal communities, and the residents of the four provinces to collaborate in preserving the esteemed reputation of being part of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club to be worthy of the title as the rising star of the southwest. The seventh-mandate Royal Government remains committed to regarding the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club (World-Bays Club) as a crucial partner within the framework of managing and developing Cambodia's coastal areas”, Samdech Thipadei underscored.

Samdech Thipadei instructed the Ministry of Tourism to continue to maintain collaboration with the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club (World-Bays Club), particularly given Cambodia's significant role as the Secretary General of this international institution.

"I would like to call on all tour operators, both national and international tourists, local authorities, and the community at large, to engage more actively in the endeavor for a clean city, clean resort, good service, and good hospitality to foster cooperation in preserving the beauty, cleanliness, and environmental integrity which are indispensable factors for sustaining the legacy of our coastal areas for future generations to inherit,” Samdech Thipadei underlined.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei urged the relevant ministries and institutions to persist in prioritizing the development of coastal regions, especially the construction of essential infrastructure to support the tourism sector and the expansion of connectivity across various modes of transportation including land, rail, and air to facilitate the seamless travel of tourists from the temple areas and other regions to the coastal areas.
