Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 2 – Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni praised the National Social Protection Policy set out by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.

In a royal message celebrating the 25th Cambodian Day of Persons with Disabilities and the 41st International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the king commended the efficiency of the National Social Protection Policy 2016-2025, paving way for the establishments of Social Security Regulator and a National Social Assistance Fund, ensuring transparent services, equity, and inclusion. The goal is to improve the well-being of vulnerable people, especially Persons with Disabilities, in line with the motto "leave no one behind."

Additionally, the king sincerely applauded the heroic, dynamic, and wise leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet in setting out Pentagonal Strategy Phase I, focusing on boosting employment, efficiency, equity, and a sustainable economy, serving as catalysts for achieving Cambodia's long-term vision—to become an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and high-income status by 2050.
