Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 30 – The Attorney at Law Khun Khenkhema, a mandate representative for Ahnakot Denis Gigil, formerly known as Denis Cokovic, issued a public statement on the case of rumors and dissemination of information that lacks legal basis in the sense of false accusations on media and other social media in the past, which has damaged the honor and dignity of his client in Cambodia.

"In the past, some media and social media outlets have shared unsubstantiated information accusing my client of being a fraudulent businessman in connection with a criminal case: issuance of bounced checks, which severely hurt the honor and dignity of his family, especially caused a series of obstacles and disruptions to the operations of all of my client's investment projects, including some important investment projects in Cambodia as well. My client is truly hurt by the exaggerated misinformation in the sense of an accusation with such a lack of legal basis, and my client would like to completely deny all of the accusations in the past,” according to a statement seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Nov. 30).
