Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 21 – Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet called for collective efforts of the competent authorities and all stakeholders to prevent any bad business from growing and to jointly expand good businesses in order to create job opportunities.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (Nov. 21) during his 10th meeting with workers, held in Por Senchey district, Phnom Penh.

On the occasion, Samdech Thibodi Hun Manet continued that currently, the competent authorities have tried to crack down the perpetrators of modern crime. He also called on all people to work together to prevent crime, especially gambling.

"We will continue to implement various policies for stability, peace and security,” the premier underlined.

Samdech Thipadei also instructed the authorities to increase inspections or patrols at entertainment venues to prevent any possible unrest.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that in the seventh mandate, the Royal Government has set out policies and measures to fulfill the promises made to the people. The Royal Government are committed to delivering on our promises to serve the citizens, maintain the existing achievements and expand new achievements, promote the development of the nation as well as improve the living standards of the people.
