Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 20 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet’s son Hun Pichmonyrithyseth ranked first among 2,358 participants from across the globe in Caribou Mathematics Contest, according to the premier's Facebook page on Monday (Nov. 20).

The Caribou Mathematics Competition or Caribou Cup is an international online math contest. The challenge stimulates students' interest in mathematics through the “interactive” novel and interesting questions, and improves students' problem-solving skills. Since its inception, the Caribou Contest has quickly become popular in 29 countries around the world.

With over 2,300 participants worldwide, the Caribou Mathematics Competition serves as a platform for students to showcase their mathematical abilities and compete at an international level. It not only encourages healthy competition but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among young mathematicians on a global scale.
