Paris (FN), Nov. 16 – Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni praised Samdech Techo Hun Sen for his 30 years of hard-work to protect, restore and manage all of Cambodia's cultural and historical sites.

The king addressed the 4th Inter-governmental Conference for Safeguarding and Development of Angkor during the 42nd Session of the General Conference of UNESCO, held on Wednesday (Nov. 15) at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.

His Majesty underlined, “I would like to extend my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Chairman of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, and to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay.”

"Samdech Techo Hun Sen has dedicated more than 30 years to the protection, restoration, and management of all cultural and historical sites in the Kingdom of Cambodia listed on the World Heritage List," the king underscored.

Furthermore, the king reassured Audrey Azoulay that the new Royal Government, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, is committed to ensuring the continuity of programs implemented in the past.
