Sihanoukville (FN), Nov. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet recalled his bitter past when he was seven months old in his mother's womb and at that time, his mother was imprisoned.

After he was born, he also had a high fever and the doctor in the Khmer Rouge regime told his mother to prepare her mentality because there was no medicine for treatment.

The premier spoke on Tuesday morning (Nov. 7) during his meeting with more than 15,000 workers in Prey Nob district, Preah Sihanouk province.

"In my generation, I almost died because there was no medicine to cure high fever. My mother was told to prepare her mentality. My brother [the firstborn] died due to negligent doctors," the premier underscored.

In this sense, Samdech Thipadei wanted to compare the differences between the infants born in the peaceful period and the infants born in the war period.
