Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet announced that the seventh-mandate Royal Government of Cambodia will continue its reforms, focusing on the provision of services and results at the grassroots level.

The premier spoke on Monday (Nov. 6) at an inauguration of the Ministry of Interior’s new administration building in Phnom Penh.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei stated that the organization of digital platforms in Cambodia is not for the ministries and institutions to seize power, but for modernization aimed at decentralization.

"Even though we will have a digital platform in the future, I would like to emphasize that the technology system should not be used for the ministries and institutions to take over, but for modernization aimed at decentralization,” the premier underlined.

During the ceremony, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that the seventh-mandate Royal Government has issued six urgent priority policies, including five key rules in addition to other policies in the Pentagon Strategy-Phase I.

"Therefore, it is necessary to increase the capacity to resolve matters at the grassroots level. We have done a lot on decentralization and deconcentration from the past mandates and must continue to sharpen it to be more effective", Samdech Thipadei underlined.
