Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet advised relevant ministries to boost and promote tourism-related activities, especially to strengthen the management of the Angkor Archaeological Park in order to attract more tourists.

The premier spoke in the weekly cabinet meeting, held on Friday morning (Oct. 27) at the Peace Palace.

In the first eight months of 2023, Cambodia attracted more than 3.5 million international tourists, an increase of nearly 251 per cent, while the number of domestic tourists was about 12.38 million, an increase of 62.5% compared to the same period in 2022.
