Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 27 – Cambodian prime minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet affirmed that strengthening the justice system is the top priority for the Royal Government of Cambodia in this seventh mandate.

The premier spoke in the weekly cabinet meeting, held on Friday morning (Oct. 27) at the Peace Palace.

The first agenda of the meeting is the draft Royal Decree on the establishment, organization, and operation of the National Authority for Non-judicial Reconciliation.

"Resolving disputes, [and] strengthening the justice system remains the top priority for us in this seventh mandate. It responds to the citizens' demands as well as pushes for tangible results," Samdech Thipadei underscored.

Samdech Thipadei hoped that establishing the Authority will contribute to providing justice, harmonization, and support. However, it will not replace the court, but complements the existing mechanisms.
