Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 26 – Chief executive officer (CEO) of Minebea Mitsumi Yoshihisa Kainuma affirmed that in the seventh-mandate Royal Government, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, his company will further encourage major Japanese companies to invest in Cambodia, especially collective investment in smart lighting in public places for regional and international exports.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) received a courtesy call by Yoshihisa Kainuma on Thursday morning (Oct. 26) at the CPP headquarters.

On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his pleasure at the progress of the Minebea company and its investment in Cambodia, especially the increase of trustworthy investment partnerships. Samdech Techo also asked the company to brief him the progress of the company over the past 12 years.

CEO of Minebea Yoshihisa Kainuma expressed his admiration for the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen. Yoshihisa Kainuma also reported to Samdech Techo that in the past 12 years, the company has produced many new products to serve the investment potential in Cambodia, including electronic products for export to international markets.

The CEO also informed Samdech Techo about the possibility of creating new investment projects in the kingdom, including investment in renewable energy.
